Apzem vent gas scrubber system is designed to efficiently treat emissions from storage tank vents where high-velocity vent gases pass through a narrow throat section, creating turbulence and ensuring effective contact with the scrubbing liquid. This step efficiently removes particulates and captures a portion of the gaseous pollutants. The partially treated gas then enters structured or random packing material to maximize surface area for gas-liquid interaction. A counter-current flow of scrubbing liquid neutralizes and absorbs soluble gases such as Volatile organic compounds, hydrogen sulphide, etc. The scrubbing liquid is continuously recirculated, with periodic blowdown and make-up to maintain efficiency. This compact system is ideal for treating emissions in storage tank vent lines, achieving high removal efficiencies for both particulates and gaseous pollutants.
