Formaldehyde is a colorless, water-soluble & pungent odor flammable gas. Formalin solution that is used in pathology laboratories contains 40% formaldehyde. There can be serious health effects if exposed to high level of formaldehyde and long term exposure can cause death. SA-FM-100 uses electrochemical sensor and comes in 14.5 x 9 x 3″ (368 x 229 x 76mm) dimension. This SA-FM-100 can handle humidity up to 20 – 90 % with 1% resolution and accuracy up to ±4%RH. It can record the presence of formaldehyde between 0.00 to 5.00 ppm with 0.01 ppm. It is an ideal solution for monitoring the indoor air quality of any work environment.
